The California Infrastructure and Economic Development Bank (I-Bank) was created to promote economic revitalization, and encourage a healthy climate for jobs in California. The I-Bank has the authority to issue tax-exempt and taxable revenue bonds.
The I-Bank programs include:
- Industrial Development Revenue Bond Program;
- Community 501(c)(3) Revenue Bond Program;
- Exempt Facility Revenue Bond Program;
- Infrastructure State Revolving Loan Fund Program- Provides low-cost loans to public agencies for a wide variety of infrastructure projects such as streets, highways, water supply and flood control, environmental mitigation, parks and recreation, port facilities, public transit, sewage collection and treatment, water treatment and distribution, public safety, and power and communication facilities.
